Caretta Buggy is an Adaptive Stroller designed for transporting children and young people between 130cm and 160cm (4’3” - 5’3”) tall. The wheelchair facilitates everyday care for people who are not able to move and sit correctly without aid. While designing this new stroller for young people, we had in mind our philosophy that the correct sitting position is essential for the stimulation of psychomotor development, and that the ability to move comfortably and safely in the open space has a huge positive influence on both the patients and their carers. We made sure that the stroller for young people Caretta Buggy is easy to use and above all, provides the best child's stabilisation during transport.
Caretta Buggy provides excellent stabilisation of the passenger’s upper body. The chest side supports, 5-point safety harness, a vest and straps stabilising the pelvis which enables correct and comfortable transporting of the user, while the passive correction of posture defects is kept. We are experts in seat systems who work with young children in many rehabilitation centres and we are aware of how important it is to have head stabilisation during transportation. Therefore Caretta Buggy possesses a new headrest system which makes sure the head is stabilised in a comfortable and safe position. It is possible to adjust the height of the head side supports.
Thanks to the special construction of the seat, which consists of elastic straps, it is possible to adjust the hardness of the seat. Also, the seat can be adjusted for tilt and we haven’t forgotten about the bucket seat position.
The foldable frame of the buggy makes it quick to fold. The compact size after folding allows to transport the stroller in the boot of a family care, because we understand that every person needs to travel.

The medical product Caretta Buggy is designed for children and young people with maximum weigh 55kg (121Ib), affected with paresis, tetraplegia or triplegia, diplegia or hemiplegia.
