Baffin neoSIT Basic is an orthopedic seating system for children, providing back and head stabilization. This model differs from other neoSIT versions by its unique backrest construction. It consists of a seat, modular backrest, thoracic and pelvic supports, footrest with foot straps, headrest, vest, tray, and a lightweight, compact base. The seat is covered with removable upholstery that can be washed.

The TILT mechanism enables the seat to recline up to 20 degrees, increasing comfort and reducing physical strain on the user.

Baffin neoSIT Basic is a positioning device that supports the patient in a seated position. It is intended for use in conditions where the ability to sit has been lost temporarily or permanently, or has not yet developed.
Baffin neoSIT Basic is used in the following conditions:
cerebral palsy,
muscular dystrophies,
various types of paralysis,
spina bifida,
myelomeningocele,
post-spinal cord injury conditions,
post-traumatic brain injury conditions,
post-stroke conditions,
postural defects, especially spinal scoliosis where other types of equipment are ineffective.
Indications for use:
improvement of lung ventilation and prevention of pneumonia,
improvement of mental well-being,
treatment and slowing of scoliosis progression in children and adolescents with impaired gait function,
development of a correct sitting pattern.
