Baffin neoSIT Basic

Baffin neoSIT Basic is an orthopaedic seat. It is used for putting the patient into a sitting position. It is available in 3 sizes: S, M, L for children between 85cm and 130cm (2’9” - 4’3”) tall.

It is made up of a seat, back and side supports, footrest with foot platforms, headrest, lap belts, vest, table tray, and a running base to give the device a propper support. The entire unit is covered with upholstery that is removable for washing.

Thanks to side supports and pelvis correction, Baffin neoSIT BASIC is a perfect device for physiotherapists, helping them to put the patient in a sitting position. Thanks to its simplicity, it can be used at rehabilitation centres and at home to continue the therapy. Baffin neoSIT Basic establishes a correct sitting position. The patient equipped with the device may take part in educational activities, occupational therapy and in play. It facilitates cognitive functions and activates the child.

For whom?

Baffin neoSIT Basic is used for putting patients in a sitting position who are not able to sit unaided. It can be used in cases of conditions where the patients have lost this function temporarily or permanently or when it has not yet been developed.

Baffin neoSIT Basic can be used for the following conditions: cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophies, paralyses of various etiology, spina bifida, myelomeningocele, condition after a spinal injury, condition after a craniocerebral trauma, condition after strokes, postural defects, particularly scoliosis, when different treatment cannot be used.
